November 11 is the day which symbolises the love for Homeland, national pride and the long awaited freedom. For decades, the indomitable will of the Polish Nation was unsuccessfully attempted to be broken. As Marshal Józef Piłsudski said: "To be defeated and not submit is a victory; to be victorious and rest on one's laurels is a defeat." The Poles never surrendered. After 123 years of partitions, in the year 1918, Poland regained its coveted independence!
